Keto Day One: July 1st 2019

I've done this before. I know I can do it again. The difference this time is that my ability to keep up with a toddler and to have another baby will depend on how much weight I'm able to lose.
Prior to pregnancy I had lost 125 pounds on the ketogenic diet (see photo above). This diet was recommended by my endocrinologist for PCOS.

This time I know what to expect, I already know what menu's work for me and I'm ready to get back at it.

I will check back in each month on the 1st of the month with weight loss updates.  If you have questions just send me an email. I'll likely share helpful apps, tips, and tricks as well!

My starting macros will be:

  • 27 grams of carbs
  • 167 grams of fats
  • 134 grams of protein 
I will shoot for a recommended 2000 calories but to be honest I rarely hit 1400 when I was on keto before. 

While I'll miss Robert's famous cookies and bread I'm eager to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes.
